Milana Matz, O.D.

Dr. Matz is an associate optometrist at Premier Eye care & Surgery.  She has a passion for excellence in eyecare, focusing her work on diseases affecting the health and vision of the front surface of the eye.  With vast experience in dry eye and contact lens services, she works with our patients to create an individual approach to achieve the best in vision correction.  “I regard contact lenses to not only be a tool used for aesthetics or for purposes of convenience, but also, as a vehicle to deliver vision for patients who would otherwise be classified as visually impaired due to various ocular disease states.  Contacts can be so life changing for people, who would otherwise have limited visual function.”

Outside of the office, Dr. Matz enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters and their two English bulldogs.  Her favorite hobbies include fitness, travel and the outdoors.  She also enjoys public speaking and education, and partners with eyecare providers across the US in educating them about the latest advancements in contact lens technologies.
