Deena F. Leonard, M.D.

Dr. Deena Leonard specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. Dr. Leonard is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and completed her residency at Northwestern. She earned a board accredited fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year for the past decade and was selected by TopTierMD as a Chicago Top Doctor.

Dr. Leonard is uniquely qualified to treat ocular disease in infants, children and teens. Dr. Leonard surgically treats muscle imbalance, blocked tear ducts and premature infant conditions. She also performs routine eye examinations and fits contact lenses on children and teens. Dr. Leonard puts children and parents at ease in a child friendly environment, thoroughly explaining your child’s condition and her recommended treatment approach.
