Welcome to Premier Eye Care & Surgery, Ltd. We are an experienced team of doctors who specialize in the medical and surgical management of eye disease.

Dr. Kiernan founded Premier Eye Care & Surgery, Ltd in 1982. At that time, it consisted of one ophthalmologist practicing in a small office in Long Grove. During the past three decades, Premier Eye Care & Surgery has grown to include 5 ophthalmologists and 3 optometrists with 2 offices in the Northwest suburbs. Our main office, in Buffalo Grove, is a 12,000 square foot facility which also houses a state-of-the-art surgical suite.

Among our doctors are physicians with special training in general and pediatric ophthalmology. Some of the diverse services offered at Premier Eye Care include: state-of-the-art cataract/lens implant surgery including bladeless laser assisted cataract surgery, medical and laser treatment of glaucoma and some retinal diseases, cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery, pediatric and adult eye muscle surgery. We offer a full range of contact lens services and both our offices offer retail optical stores with a huge selection of frames and where we control the quality, in order to provide you with the highest level of care at a competitive price.
